Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Caspenda ("we", "us") handles when you use this website. Effective date: September 11, 2026.

1. Calculator inputs stay local

Calculator inputs are processed locally in your browser. No account or email address is required to use the calculators, and inputs are not sent to our servers for calculation or saved in a personal profile.

2. Optional newsletter subscriptions

If you choose to subscribe, your email address is sent to https://api.caspenda.com/newsletter/subscribe. We process your email address and the information needed to record consent, confirm your subscription, deliver the newsletter and manage unsubscribes. Calculator inputs are not included in the subscription request.

Subscription processing and email delivery use service providers, including Brevo. See the Newsletter Privacy notice for the purpose of processing and your choices.

3. Website operation and tracking

When enabled, first-party usage measurement sends only a page/tool bucket, event type and coarse source such as X or search to api.caspenda.com. We keep daily event totals for 30 days. We do not send calculator values, result amounts, email addresses, complete URLs, query parameters or share fragments with these events. No visitor ID, advertising tracker, fingerprint, session replay or heatmap is used. Short-lived tab storage keeps only a source bucket and duplicate-event markers for up to 30 minutes; it does not identify you.

Measurement respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control, and is disabled in embedded calculators. Turn off usage measurement saves an off preference for this site. Hosting, network security and email providers may separately process technical request data such as IP addresses and times. Event totals are not independent visitors or confirmed subscriptions.

4. Sharing and exports

Share and Copy Link encode the selected calculator state in a URL fragment. Anyone you give that link to can recover those figures. Exported images and reports can also contain your inputs and results. Share only what you intend to disclose. Legacy query-string links remain readable; unlike fragments, query strings are included in the initial website request.

5. Retention and your choices

We do not retain calculator inputs on our servers. Newsletter subscription records are kept to provide the service and manage consent. Unsubscribing stops newsletter delivery; a limited suppression or consent record may remain to honor your unsubscribe and applicable recordkeeping obligations. 6. Third parties

We do not sell or rent subscriber addresses. Providers process subscription and technical data to operate the services described above. External links lead to websites with their own privacy practices.
